Case description
This Mandibular 1st molar (#36) was diagnosed with acute pulpitis, actute periodontitis and condensing osteitis. A glidepath was created, initially by hand files (#10, #15) and then rotary (#20/.04).
In the distal canal, a SAF 2.0mm was operated for 4 minutes with NaOCl 5%, and in the mesial canals a 1.5mm SAF was operated with the same protocol.
Root canal cleanliness was assessed using a clinical microscope, and obturation was carried using Thermafil (Distal canal: #35/.04; mesial canals: #30/.04)
