PreSAF Instruments – The Ideal Glide Path Preparation for SAF
PreSAF instruments are rotary glide path files designed for the initial preparation of narrow root canals or for use in retreatment cases.
Made from heat-treated controlled memory NiTi (martensitic phase), they offer exceptional flexibility and safety with minimal stress on dentin.
Compatible with all standard endodontic motors.
Available in pre-sterilized blister packs:
- Refill packs with 5 instruments per type, in lengths of 21 mm, 25 mm, or 29 mm
- Assortment pack including one each of PreSAF FLARE, GLIDE, and PREP (all 25 mm)

The PreSAF range

PreSAF FLARE
An orifice shaper designed for narrow root canal entries.
Features a non-cutting safety tip and is used for coronal enlargement up to 3 mm depth. Operated at 250–400 rpm with a torque limit of 3 N·cm.

PreSAF GLIDE
Used for initial glide path preparation in root canals with an entry size of ISO #10 (confirmed with a hand file).
Operated to full working length at 250–400 rpm with a torque limit of 1.2 N·cm.
Requires the use of PreSAF PREP to prepare the canal for SAF 1.5 mm operation.

PreSAF PREP
Designed for glide path preparation in canals with an entry size of ISO #15 (confirmed with a hand file).
Its alternating taper provides enhanced flexibility and control. Operated to full working length at 250–400 rpm with a torque limit of 1.5 N·cm. Prepares the canal for operation with SAF 1.5 mm.
